Binary package hint: kdebase
Setting Kate's "Warn about files modified by foreign processes" option
in the settings does not always notify when a file has been modified,
requiring the user to manually refresh the file to check for changes.
This feature worked correctly in KDE 3.5. Problem exists in Kubuntu
Karmic.
