I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) with all updates applied.... and I can confirm that I get exactly the same error as Blax above.
Unlike Phil M, I am unable to rebuild the package from source, for me this results in: -- ... filename.c: In function 'char* file_make_absolute_to(const char*, const char*)': filename.c:192: error: invalid conversion from 'const char*' to 'char*' make[4]: *** [filename.o] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/tmp/ggcov-0.8/build-tree/ggcov-0.8/src' --- It seems inappropriate to try to hack this...can anyone tell me why I'm unable to rebuild like Phil M, or give some indication as to whether or not this will be fixed any time soon? What surprises me is that this is a package deemed suitable for inclusion in the Ubuntu Software Centre... -- ggcov: Incorrect library version dependency https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/40367 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
