Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
In the official Ubuntu documentation, under the section Ubuntu equivalents to Windows programs at URL https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/switching/applications-equivalents.html, it states that the equivalent of Windows Live Messenger is Pidgin, and provides additional resources for accessing and using Pidgin. Pidgin has been replaced by Empathy in the default install of Ubuntu 9.10, and so the documentation should be updated to refer to Empathy instead of Pidgin. ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Ubuntu 9.10 Windows Equivalents refers to Pidgin instead of Empathy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490980 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
