Hi, it was set to use system settings proxy server, I changed it to no proxy and the problem disappeared.
Thank you very much for the clue. By the way - when I open the ubuntu one folder there is a little button "connect" and when I press it it stays on "connecting" all the time. Is there anything I can do about it ?
