This problem is listed in your lists, but I can't find any solution.
making annotations in a document written in "MS word 2007" (saved as .doc,
office 2000) openoffice crashes when I try to save.
OS is ubuntu 9.10

known issue 105322: annotations lost on save/crash when trying to save a
document with annotations. But I can't find a solution to this problem. Is
