Since there were no updates available I had to manually set driver "vesa" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf. The "Try to restore X"-utility of ubuntu didn't work - even starting with a plain new config for my hardware didn't yield to a working X session.
Do you need any more files to track this regression properly? ** Attachment added: "Manually set xorg.conf, that worked after service kdm restart - ati was changed to vesa for my graphics card" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36436431/xorg.conf -- Regression: no X-Server working after current updates with ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200 SE] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/491893 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
