As of today - Sat Dec 5 - after the latest Kernel update and NM update from PPA trunk I don't seem to be getting segfaults any more. Not sure precisely when the segfaults stopped as I haven't tried NM (been using CLI pon) for about the last 3-4 days.
However I am still unable to connect via NM as it appears to be using ttyUSB2 instead of ttyUSB0 to try and connect. Not sure if this is the fault of the Sierra driver or NM - and I am not sure if modifying a config file is all it would take to fix it. CLI pon is still working in the meantime. -- ModemManager segfaults with Sierra Modems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/476621 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
