hello, first and foremost I'd like to make clear that I find the ubuntu one a
fantastic idea and well executed this far.
with all beta testing there is bound to be some glitches and I'm very-VERY
happy to be part of this new beginning!!

I'm NOT very good with understanding tech talk so I'll just ad info
simply

i've tried uploading files directly to ubuntu one from the web site and
it takes for-ever (not literaly) meaning that uploading occurs at 25-30
kB/sec (if lucky) although I've got a good connection. NONETHELESS this
is also the upload speed by witch my gmail account picks up files that I
wish to email/share... could it be something with ubuntu 9.10 uploading
speed or packaging? (i nearly have no idea what i'm talking about here,
so excuse if i just said something completely and utterly invalid)

so then I found out about the ubuntu one file ON my computer and tried
to sync files from there. No luck or too slow. after googling a little
bit I compressed and split my files to 10kB packages at which point
ubuntu one gave a files are up to date note and stayed off line.

when I switch my computer on it says that it is updating and then goes
into disconnected mode with a "files are up to date" message

Is there a specific compression that would "assist" package up-loading?

thanks for your work on this grate idea!
