Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grub2

After completion of the installation of Ubuntu-9.10-desktop amd64:
E: grup-pc: underprocess installerade post-installation-skript gav felkod 1
"subprocess installed post-installation-script gave errorkode 1"

2x160 Gb HD, Windows Vista on the first and Ubuntu and Windows My
document on the second.

grub2 don't like this.

I have tried unsuccessfully, by editing the grub file to get rid of the count
down before grub start the prechosen OS.
In 9.04 I managed to have grub waiting for me to chose the OS.
Some times I have to start Vista and run some non linux software (Garmin) and
therefore:
The computer shall NOT do anything during start up before I say so!
