I'm still getting these crashes with the latest linux-image-generic 2.6.31.16.29. This is reproducable and it always logs that 'unable to handle kernel paging request' message if it is able to log anything at all. I'm attaching some more samples of that.
I did a fresh karmic install on a spare partition and that doesn't have this problem. I'm wondering what could make that difference. I tried with the same kernel versions. Remaining difference is the fresh install doesn't have software raid, only one user account is there, some packages are not installed and pulseaudio is still installed. All that doesn't look like it could make that difference. I'm close to installing the production system fresh and hope the problem will not come back. ** Attachment added: "syslog-pagingBug.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36505519/syslog-pagingBug.log -- Kernel oops always after resume from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484406 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
