Hello, I installed the linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic as you requested but the system beep doesn't work the same. The beep in the alsamixer is enabled and the volume is 100% The sound card is integrated in the M/B and the chip is ALC662 Rev.1. I repeat again: the driver is correct and I haven't any problem with the other sounds. Only the system beep doesn't work
