I read the entire thread here and i don't think it's gonna be fixed. I get it everytime i insert my mp3 player. And i've gone through kernels and i've always updated my system as it should.
Also, it's not harmless, the device cannot be mounted and i cannot use it until i just plug it in and disconnect every other usb device from my machine.
