thanks for ur suggestion! here i am giving the sufficient information abt my
system,i am using the motherboard asus A8V-mx acpi bios revision 0210,64 bit
amd processor,512 mb of ram and 80gb harddisk.formerly i used windows xp and
now i had formatted my harddisk completely and when i tried to install
ubuntu 6.06 LTS the problem occurs! during the installation i get problem in
the step 5 (select a disk),in this step it displays setting up the partioner
and after that it remains idle!(in step 5)
but,while i am trying this for times ,it has
installed 100% once and i reboot my system without the live cd ,it displays
the error /bin/sh:can't access tty;job control turned off
