Jarl, I confirm my experience. Moreover a few days ago I removed HPLIP 3.9.8 from my openSUSE 11.1 box (repository package) and I installed HPLIP 3.9.10 downloaded from HPLIP home. The problem was fixed for my system also if the print results aren't comparable with ones obtained by windows driver especially on heavy paper.
