debianutils is certainly still a valid package. If none of the changes that have been made to it apply any more, then it should be synced, although not until these changes have been applied to sensible-utils instead. The following are general comments on the merge which may be useful anyway.
I'm having trouble making sense of your changelog. You mention removal of references to mkboot which does not actually appear to be the case (and wasn't mentioned in previous changelog entries). Similarly your comment about tempfile.1 doesn't match the diff (unless you made a change on top of the merge, in which case you should describe it outside the "Remaining changes" section). Furthermore, you haven't mentioned the addition of select-editor other than saying that it was added to debian/control, which is arguably the most important remaining change. "Removed .gitignore file" - this looks like a previous mistake, and it doesn't make sense to keep this delta in the merge. Is there any particular reason why you didn't simply copy the "Remaining changes" section from the previous changelog, and edit from there? It really looks like a much more correct description of what's been changed. In any case, I think select-editor probably does belong in sensible- utils. -- Please merge debianutils 3.2.2 (main) from Debian testing (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
