I am closing this bug as a new gnome-screensaver was published as an
update to Karmic that should take care of this issue.
For gnome-screensaver not coming up in xubuntu and mythbuntu, please
refer to bug #493573 from now on.
If you are still having problems with gnome-screensaver in a Gnome
session, please open a new bug.
