This email proved to be very timely. I just upgraded my Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 more than a week ago, and a few minutes ago, I visited my daughters' friendster accounts, and this time, it is not only Firefox that "crashed," I literally had to log-in again into Karmic Koala. As to which of the two - Firefox 3.5.5 and/or Karmic had a problem, I cannot guess.
