Public bug reported:
the linux-software on www.auerswald.de -> service -> download "COMpact 4410USB"
with the "config-file" JavaVersion1.4.rc works with every sun-java version on
ubuntu 6.06 perfectly. But with ubuntu 6.10 it did not - on no account.
Probably there is a problem with the local classpath
"de.auerswald.commander.basic.BasicMain" (see below)
With the help of the german forum I got the following solution:
I created for each part of Auerswald's software a start-program, which is for
the example of Auerswald's "COMset" as follows:
cd ~/Auerswald/COMset/COMset-2.6.18;
sudo /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.00/bin/java -Djava.library.path=. -cp
auerswald_lib.jar:COMset.jar:RXTXcomm.jar:comm.jar
de.auerswald.commander.basic.BasicMain
