I'm not sure what you mean by "install" above. Do you mean a fresh install of Karmic, the Linuxant modem driver, of alsa-driver (manually), or some combination?
I'm trying to see which ALSA device is created by the Linuxant driver so that PulseAudio can be modified as necessary.
