I had a similar bug. When I installed the final version of 9.10, I tried to connect to an encrypted wireless network. I entered the connection settings into NetworkManager, but the computer just could not connect, and constantly asked me for my network key. To fix this problem, I created two connections in NetworkManager: one Ad-hoc and one Infrastructure. The two connections have the same SSID and encryption settings, but the IPv4 setting of the Ad-hoc connection is "shared to other computers", and the other connection's IPv4 setting is "Automatic (DHCP)". I created the connections so the Infrastructure connection is listed first in NetworkManager.
