I can confirme this but I don't see a bug or the need for an enhancement
here. There are two links in different locations because there are
different approaches to get there. The link in places is there because
that's where the links to files are and so you may check there also to
search for files. On the other hand there are different search
applications there (if installed - like tracker) and should be keept
there too. This is just IMO, so if there are other opinions -> perhaps
papercut.
