Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Using an iPod Nano 3G. I can add music to the iPod's library without
difficulty. I can create a playlist under the iPod device in Rhythmbox,
name it, and add songs to it. However, when attempting to eject the
iPod, I get an error message stating that some of the volumes are busy.
No playlist is created on the ipod. When the ipod is re-mounted, the
playlist on Rhythmbox appears, but is now empty.

This behavior does not hold true if the songs are added one at a time. I
can add a song, eject the ipod, and the playlist and song will be there.
Then I can remount the ipod and add a single song, eject it, and the
song will be added to the playlist on the ipod.

However, as you might imagine, this is a rather cumbersome way of adding
songs to a playlist.
