HI, i finally solved it without however knowing the reason that caused this problem.
What i did was to load a live cd of fedora 12...The internet connection was fine with it. Then i booted to ubuntu and the internet connection was established normally, However, when i boot to windows xp (or vista) and establish an internet connection then once again i dont have internet when i reboot (after windows) to ubuntu. Thus, there is something in windows xp-vista that hinders ubuntu to connect with internet while fedora (and mandriva) does not have this problem. Thanks for the help, --C -- no internet connection even wired https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/470346 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
