HI,

i finally solved it without however knowing the reason that caused this
problem.

What i did was to load a live cd of fedora 12...The internet connection
was fine with it. Then i booted to ubuntu and the internet connection
was established normally, However, when i boot to windows xp (or vista)
and establish an internet connection then once again i dont have
internet when i reboot (after windows) to ubuntu. Thus, there is
something in windows xp-vista that hinders ubuntu to connect with
internet while fedora (and mandriva) does not have this problem.

Thanks for the help,
