Thank you for using Ubuntu and taking the time to report a bug. This
doesn't seem to be a problem with an existing Ubuntu package. This may
be related to gourmet not being able to use python2.6. There is an
update for that in jaunty-updates as well as Ubuntu 9.10. Please reopen
if this is in error.
