Public bug reported:
When playing a dvd in totem (2.29.2-0ubuntu1), sound works well while in
the menu section of the dvd (the menu background music plays). Once I
select a chapter to start playing, the movie eventually starts playing
(after a while of showing a sequence of still images). However, there
is no sound playing. When I tail /var/log/messages, I see many repeated
lines like this:
Dec 13 19:42:27 netbook pulseaudio[1407]: asyncq.c: q overrun, queuing
locally
I'm using an MSI Wind Book U100 netbook (1.6Ghz CPU, 1GB RAM), with
Ubuntu lucid (development branch) 10.04. I have medibuntu added to my
repos, and have libdvdcss2 1.2.10-0.3medibuntu1 installed. I'm not
sure which packages are needed for the audio, but I have w32codecs,
gstreamer-plugins-good, bad and ugly installed.
