Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mplayer

When playing movies, mplayer doesn't play well the sound in almost all
files.

In certain formats (as .asf) it seems that there's no problem.

In edgy all worked properly. It's not a fault of my sound system since all apps
sound well except mplayer.
It's configured to use alsa sound system, but changing it to esd, or oss,
doesn't fix the problem.
