i had this, also on lenovo machine. On my setup, the rule was added pre- upgrade to karmic, and was done as part of manual config to get a vodafone K3760 USB 3G modem to work. This model is supported in network manager as of karmic. Issue went away when I removed the rule, and modem continues to work fine.
