Hi,

I think you're right: it's not worth having a merge for a 'cleaner' rules file 
(as dh_python is not doing anything). This should be fixed in the Debian 
package, so please convert this merge request into a sync request, and report 
to Debian the obsolete call to dh_python. This is the message I have when 
building the package:
dh_python: Doing nothing since dh_pycompat exists; dh_pysupport or dh_pycentral 
should do the work. You can remove dh_python from your rules file.
