Same here (karmic) on Kubuntu.
openchangeclient from command line, same result. internal works external does 
not work.

Maybe the problem is this long string:

I think, the part "20ADMINISTRATIVE+20..."  must look like:

<IMCEAEX-_O=NORTIW_OU=Exchange Administrative Group
(FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=CLUSTER is at
CURRENTCLUSTERHOSTNAME.nortiw.tooriw.local

Maybe that's the problem??
