After upgrade to Karmic i got a very slow suspend/hibernate. The screen
would blank but the CPU fan was still active and it took 5 minutes to
finish the process.
Some googling around and i found that the IDE driver was slowing down
suspend/resume. After enabling AHCI option in my laptop's BIOS the
problem was gone: suspend/hibernate works as expected.
