The "System -> Administration" menu is in many aspects not usable!!
E. g. even after changing the "Language Support" command to "gksudo /usr/bin/gnome-language-selector" in alacarte, I can not install any language by using the menu. This is because after selecting a language for installation a get asked for the root password. In contrast to that there is no problem if I run gksudo /usr/bin/gnome-language-selector from a terminal. -- some apps in System > Administration do not work with sudo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493961 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
