I am having the same issue as leeon. My wireless will work anywhere
from 30 minutes to two hours before disconnecting. The only way for me
to get wireless back is to reboot. Restarting the network with
/etc/init.d/networking restart doesn't help. I am using wicd and NOT
network-manager. Wicd fails at the obtaining IP address stage. I have
WEP enabled. This worked flawlessly in Jaunty (9.04) and I have had
problems ever since upgrading to Karmic (9.10)
