@Twig -- so this does not occur with 2.6.31-14.28, and does with
2.6.32-2.2. It would be helpful to try and work out whether it occurs
on the latest Karmic kernel 2.6.31-17.54 in karmic-proposed. If so it
would be handy to see which release inbetween that the issue occured.
If no then it would be somewhere between 2.6.31 and 2.6.32, so it would
be helpful to see which of the 2.6.32-rcN kernels work and which do not.
