I'm having a similar problem. Only gparted is able to load the partition table of my raid device. I was however, able to install through ubiquity.. After that, any attempt to boot the machine fails. The raid device itself appears in /dev/mapper, as well as 'control'; but none of the partitions are listed unless I reboot with the live cd and open gparted.
Perhaps I could boot the system if I knew why it is that gparted can read the table... -- Kubuntu install fails to detect software (fake) Intel Matrix RAID0 SSD volume on Alienware M17 laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346425 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
