Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xinput

When plugging in my Sixaxis and pressing the home button to wake it up
it is used to control the mouse. It should be considered a joystick
first. This makes me unable to use it in any other way.

Her is Xorg log

Would be really great also if there was a method of changing the type
