Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
open office writer.
text selection other than with the mouse is unreliable.
so shift up arrow or down arrow usually works but can fail.
However shift+pageup or shift+pagedown does not work at all other than on the
the
first pagedown or pageup. The second or successive pageup or down loses the
selection entirely. other programs or editior (e.g. tomboy notes) do not have
this bug.
