This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this
being fixed with an update. In regards to the system not rebooting this
is a known issue and was mentioned in the release announcement. "The
desktop CD fails to reboot when the graphical installer finishes, due to
a change in GDM which is not yet picked up by other components of the
distribution." Thanks again for taking the time to report this bug and
helping to make Ubuntu better. Feel free to submit any future bugs you
may find.
