I hope we will be able to get the fixed 3.2.0 at least in ppa for
karmic.

I have checked the debian bug report and there are 2 things that I find
completely weird.

1) Go-oo does not have a bug report system and uses the opensuse one (so
I was told).  But eventually it is the debian people telling novell on
their bug reporting system that the bug is fixed in 3.2.0beta2 and not
the other way round. This makes me wonder.

2) In the bug tracking sistems it is common to see this bug treated as
non-important.  When people using oo for scientific presentation say
that to have proper subscript/superscripts is a determining factor, they
are often told that it is almost their fault if the bug gets exposed so
often, since they should use proper formulas and not formatting.  I
think we would love to, but as a matter of fact, openoffice copied the
ms office deficiency of not allowing formulas anchored as characters in
presentations.  Which is why we are stuck with formatting.  And
indirectly this is why this bug is very critical.
