I submitted two bug report. The slow sync process appears when using the gvfs-afc backend and not when using the ifuse fuse filesystem, so there are maybe some issues in gvfs : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=605126 .
I filled also a bug report for rhythmbox to maybe add an option to differ the save process. I made and included a patch to just do that (without adding an option in the interface to activate this feature) . Basically the database save is an event that is scheduled to start 15 seconds later. I just added some code to restart the schedule if a new save action is triggered when this event goes up. This resolve my issue : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=605140 . 2009/12/21 Pedro Villavicencio <[email protected]> > could you tell us the bug number there or shall we go ahead and close > this report?
