Hi again,

I've rerun the suspend test instructions here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend on 9.10 (where I am still
having the same issue), while using the acpi_osi="Linux" boot parameter
and was able to narrow down the offending device down to "ACPI device
19", which, based on sys/bus/acpi/device:19, seems to be the video card.
The system actually seems to first initialise the "bdi" device. Also,
there was no hard drive light activity, it may not have even spun up (I
heard the fan spin up and didn't think the hard drive did). Since the
debugging instructions don't give much more information about what to do
now, I'd really appreciate some help! If you have any ideas of what to
try next or pointers on who I can send this information to, that would
be great.

Thanks in advance,
     Jason

PS I'm attaching the dmesg that shows the resume_trace.

** Attachment added: "dmesg that (hopefully) shows the offending device in the
resume path"
