Binary package hint: mountall
The title says it all. Mountall terminates, causing a failure to boot,
because it could not connect to Plymouth. It should have some sort of
fallback mechanism if Plymouth is not installed or running that allows
the system to do a normal console boot.

After latest mountall update on Lucid, mountall exits because it cannot connect
