Please open a terminal and copy&paste these two commands:
 
  gvfs-mount -li > /tmp/gvfs.txt 2>&1 &
  devkit-disks --monitor-detail > /tmp/dkd.txt 2>&1 &
  udevadm monitor --udev -e > /tmp/udev.txt 2>&1

then reproduce the situation, i. e. insert a DVDRW, blank it, and watch
it disappear. Then close the terminal, and attach /tmp/gvfs.txt,
/tmp/dkd.txt, and /tmp/udev.txt here. Thanks!
