Public bug reported:

how i got this problem:

on Karmic 32, i plug a usb-stick and ask "usb-creator-gtk" to format it:

the dialog box come up and the stick is well recognized but:

- a triangular warning logo is drawn before /dev/sdd ( saying no free space,
that's ok, i need to format it).
- and a second copy of this stick is shown and named as /dev/sdd1 (warning
space too).

Clicking on /dev/sdd1, it fail with a warning message:
org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.NotFound

Unplug the stick, waiting 10 seconds and plug it back: first the gui is
refreshed when i unplug it and it reappeared when it's back but that
time not in double ( only /dev/sdd).

Trying once again to format it: i click on device and click on "format":
first, nothing seems to hapen, and few seconds later, /dev/sdd1 come up
again with 0.0 B free space .

So, i suppose there is something wrong with mount/umount as Nautilus
only find the stick the first time, then on unplug/plug the stick is not
remounted; curiously usb-creator-gtk find it each time and even twice
!!!
