I can confirm this bug on my installation of 9.10 as well. ... a Dell 700m. Same exact symptoms: Running on AC>unplug cable>goes to standby Running on Battery>plug in ac cable>goes into standby. I thought it was my battery, as this lt is old, and the battery is end of life. It keeps a charge for a bout 7 minutes. I have a new extended life batt coming hopefully tomorrow. This is more of an annoyance than anything.
