You probably want to check your install. I have the exact same card (id
& all in my Thinkpad x301) . So what happens when you load up iwlagn ? Run
"sudo modprobe iwlagn". Also can you try an 9.10 live CD and see if you see the
same behavior, something may have gotten messed up in your install.
