Public bug reported:

Please consider including nginx version 0.5.13 in the next Ubuntu
release. It's available in Debian Sid for a week now (I'm the Debian
maintainer), and it's the currently supported branch of nginx. I
requested it to be released in Etch, but it was denied on the grounds of
"we won't add newer software" I wouldn't like to see an older version of
a software like this being released in massive, modern distributions
such as Debian and Ubuntu.

What has changed? I compiled SSL and FLV streaming support (SSL, because
the performance drop is unnoticeable, FLV, per user request) -- both
thing were supported by upstream in previous versions. It's the 0.5
branch, which fixed lots of bugs in the 0.4 branch, and it's the one
being currently developed.

>From 93 entries in the changelog diff, 52 are tagged 'Bugfix' and 29 are
tagged 'Feature'.

I'm attaching:
* diffstat between 0.4.13 and 0.5.13
* diff of the CHANGES file

Build logs are available in http://buildd.debian.org/pkg.cgi?pkg=nginx
This package is Linda and Lintian clean, builds in pbuilder (in a Sid
environment) and passes piuparts.

Thank you very much for your time,
Jose
