I too have this problem. I have a Samsung R620 with a RealTek 8192E and Ndiswrapper runs OK until I transfer a large file. It usually fails quickly - after a few tens of Mb transferred.
If I open the Windows Wireless Drivers control panel and remove then re- add the WinXP driver then the wifi comes back to life. Until it dies again. ** uname -a: Linux kreacher 2.6.31-17-generic #54-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 10 16:20:31 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux ** lspci -vvnn: 02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
