I have tested these directions on a Lucid development server based on
the 9.10 Karmic directions and they work as expected. In another bug
report we changed the 644 permissions on the authorized_keys file to
600, which is the default and is appropriate. That change will appear
in Lucid next time we release an update for the docs. If you are still
having problems, please try again using 600 permissions. Also, please
don't hesitate to file more bugs for problems you find with the docs.
