Is this really "Fix Released" ? I cannot see any mention of the bug
reference in the package changelogs for Karmic or Lucid.
I've been experiencing this issue in conjunction with Evolution but had
thought it was an Evolution issue until I investigated more.
In my case Evolution manages around 15 remote IMAP4 accounts all of
which contain considerable numbers of (mailing-list) emails in multiple
sub-folders. When closed, Evolution's main window remains on-screen
greyed-out for several minutes whilst the CPU runs at 100%.
top shows that the indicator is responsible:
