Thanks for the info. So you say that after the crash you can still switch to virtual terminals (Ctrl+Alt+Fn)? If so, then it would greatly help for you to attach debugging information available right after the crash.
When the crash occurs, please switch to a terminal and run 'ubuntu-bug xorg' from the command-line. This will collect much more debugging information in a new report.
